What’s New!
- Home Furnishings & Decor! – Our Edison event will now be accepting home furnishing and home decor items. All items must be current, in-style and in excellent condition. We will NOT accept houseware or outdoor items.
- Refer-A-Friend – We are going to run a promotion for our Edison event. We are going to give away $100 CASH to the consignor who refers the most NEW consignors to our Fall Edison sale. A NEW consignor is defined as a consignor that not previously registered with Kidzsignments as a consignor. The NEW consignor MUST list the referring consignor as his/her referral on the NEW CONSIGNOR REGISTRATION PAGE. The winner will be announced during the consignor pre sale on Wednesday, October 5th and presented with $100 CASH!!

REMEMBER
- Fall Clothing only – This is a fall sale and we will only be accepting fall/winter clothing. This means no short sleeves, shorts, swimsuits etc. (short sleeve shirts with a collar and denim capris are okay). Outerwear needs to be fall/winter (no spring jackets/windbreakers etc.). Hold onto your swimwear and accessories for the spring sale.
- Wire Hangers –We can only accept clothing on WIRE hangers. Wire hangers will allow is to hang significantly more clothing on our racks. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this requirement.
- 12-Hour Volunteers – Volunteers who work 12 hours will receive a pass to shop the pre-sale beginning at noon on Wednesday, October 5th at noon. Schedule 3 shifts or ask about working only two 6-hour shifts.
- Returning Sellers – Don’t forget to clear your online inventory of item that sold or were donated in the spring. IF YOU ARE ALSO SELLING IN FLEMINGTON YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TRANSFER ALL UNSOLD ITEMS INTO YOUR FLEMINGTON ACCOUNT AFTER THIS SALE.

Getting Your Items Ready…
Preparation- Take care to prepare your items so they are easy to shop and attractive to buyers. Need hangers? Most drycleaners are happy to give away their extras. Check with your local dry cleaners about recycled hangers they may have to give away. WalMart sells a child size “drip dry” hanger in packs of 10 for $1.74. More Tips & Ideas
Hanging – Wire hangers should be used to hang tops, bottoms and outfits. When hanging pants, pin the pants to shoulders of the hanger (see picture on my website). Outfits can be hung on one hanger (see picture on my website) by pinning the pants to the shirt (and hanger).
Pricing - Price your things approximately 1/4 – 1/3 of original retail. Consider the brand, size, age & popularity. You should price from the prospective of a buyer and not a seller. Pricing guidelines are available on our website. Pricing Ideas
Tagging – Start entering items now and print tags when it is convenient. Don’t wait for the last minute. Remember, the deadline for entering/printing tags is 6:00 am Monday, October 4th! Click Here to begin entering your items.

Tips for Consignors…
- Sets sell better in sizes up to 5/5T. Pair tops w/ bottoms. Mix ‘n matching brands is fine. This tip will help you sell your smaller sizes better than if you sell them as separate pieces.
- List name brands & features on tags (i.e Gymboree, GAP, Ralph Lauren etc).
- Sort clothing first by gender then size before entering online.
- Volunteer time and to earn earlier shopping and higher %. More Details
