Consignor Newsletter
EDISON
Edition 3 Volume 2
Week of August 28th 2011

Even though we still have 5 weeks until drop-off begins, consignors should be starting to organize their items and get them ready to sell. Please take a few minutes to read the information in this newsletter. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know at laurie@kidzsignments.com. Thanks!

Our Tag

  • TAG – Our tags print 10 per page to maximize your cardstock! Tags will only print the word “Donate” if you items are marked for donation (blank indicates you will be picking that item up on Sunday). If you mark an item as no discount for half price day, you will see the words No Discount over the price. Items not displaying those words will be discounted during the Saturday half price sale.
  • NEW Crib policy – Per the CPSC ruling we will NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING ANY CRIB manufactured BEFORE July 28, 2011.

Consignor Do’s and Don’ts…

DO- Make sure your account is up to date by deleting sold/donated items and, if applicable, moving items into your active inventory (from your inactive inventory) You many also change your mailing address, email and phone numbers from the consignor homepage - Returning sellers only

DON’T – Miss out on your higher percentage and earlier shopping pass by not volunteering (up to 75%)! Many shifts are still available. Click here to learn more!

DO - Take time to read/review the information on preparing items correctly (Click here) – EVEN if you are a returning seller. We change little things each sale to help improve efficiency.

DON’T –Wait for the last minute to start entering items. Remember, the deadline for entering/printing tags is 11:59 pm Sunday, October, 2nd! Click Here to begin entering your items.

DO – Start now to clean out the closets, drawers and toy chests. Give yourself plenty of time to gather, prep and enter for the sale!

DON’T – Use packing tape or scotch tape on book covers or game/puzzle boxes (it will destroy the box when removed). Instead use masking (painters) tape when attaching tags to anything with paper or cardboard.
