What’s New!
- We will now accept all title DVDs (rated G-R) and Adult book titles (limit of 10).
- VIP passes are on sale for anyone who wants to shop early but doesn’t have time to sell or volunteer. The pass will get a person into the Edison sale beginning at 6pm on Wednesday, March 28th. If you know someone who wants to purchase the pass ($5.00) they can visit our webpage HERE.
- Follow us on PINTEREST! Find us HERE (beware, Pinterest is addicting!)
Our Blog – Did you know we now have a blog? You can subscribe to it too! I upload all kinds of tips and sale tidbits along with other goodies. You can access the blog from our website or by clicking here. Here are some recent posts:

REMEMBER!
No Sorting - We do not sort items into consignor piles. We will provide you with a list of what hasn’t already been recorded as sold, and, if needed, help you to locate those items on the sales floor. We will also be keeping 1-2 registers open to support the increase in sales that will result when fellow sellers find goodies they still want to purchase! TIP - Make your items stand out by doing something eye grabbing like tying colored yarn around the neck of the hanger, using stickers or colored marks on your tags or even spray painting your hangers beforehand.
Selling at Both Sales – I know we will have several sellers who will be selling at both Flemington and Edison sales. I have created a document that explains the process of transferring inventory..BUT, IF YOU ARE SELLING AT FLEMINGTON FIRST, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU ONLY ENTER INTO YOUR EDISON ACCOUNT AFTER YOU TRANSFER ITEMS FROM FLEMINGTON. When our Flemington is completed you will be able to transfer unsold items into your Edison account (after transferring items you also be able to enter new ones). Click HERE for information on selling at both events.

|
NEW & IMPORTANT! – In 2008 the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) passed legislation affecting items geared toward children newborn to age 12. This legislation stipulates that these items may not contain lead in excess of CPSC requirements. It also makes the selling of items contain lead in excess of the CPSC requirements illegal. What this means is that YOU are not allowed to sell any item that they deem as hazardous due to its lead content or because the item is listed on a CPSC recall list. It is your responsibility to check this list and be SURE you are not bringing in an item that has either been recalled or identified as containing a lead limit in excess of the CPSC standard. CLICK HERE to view a recent list AND visit the CPSC website for additional items. As a part of our consignor agreement, consignors will be signing off that they have checked these lists and are confident their items are not on the list.

Consignor Do’s & Don’ts…
DO – Check clothing carefully for stains, holes, missing buttons etc. before bringing to drop-off. Hold all your clothing up against natural light and avoid checking while inside closets, in basements or in the evening when light is dim. We are going to be EXTREMELY picky so only bring YOUR BEST items.
DON’T – Bring fall/winter clothing (i.e cold weather), winter items, adult clothing/shoes, maternity clothing, car seats or bike helmets. We have a few items that we cannot accept. Visit the website for those specifics. NEW – No Jewelry due to new Consumer Products Legislation and new lead limits.
DO – Use only cardstock or coverstock (not paper) to print tags. Look for 65-67 lb for best results. Michael’s Arts & Crafts sells a 50pack for $4.99 (even cheaper if you use a 40% off coupon). TIP - save ink and set your printers to Draft when printing tags!
DON’T – Bring infant equipment older than 5 years. And CHECK OUR RECALL LIST OR WWW.CPSC.ORG FOR CURRENT RECALLS.
DO – Hang all clothing on wire hangers only (free hangers are available at most local dry cleaners). Walmart sells a 10pk for $1.66.
DON’T – Bag clothing unless they are still in the original packaging.
TIP! – The Dollar Tree now sells boxes of the Extra Large Ziploc “like” bags which are perfect for larger toys with lots of accessories or selling multiple things together.

Consignor FAQ
What are the item limits?
Consignors may bring a total of 350 items. In addition, we limit each consignor to 25 clothing items per gender in sizes 0-18 months (25 items TOTAL -not per size). Outerwear, shoes and Dress up (make believe type dress up) are NOT included in the 25 item max. This only applies to clothing sizes 0-18 months (18/24 months IS included in this limit). An item is defined as having its own price tag so if you sell a top and bottom together, that is ONE item. NEW – No more than 2 hangers may be tied together to create an item. Do not rubber band hangers together. Instead, use zip ties (this will prevent shoplifters from switching items among rubber bands) How do I know what to price my items? We offer you some pricing suggestionson the website but as a general rule, you should price things 1/4 – 1/3 of their original retail price. Popular or name-brand items can be priced higher. You are the best judge, price an item for no more than you would be willing to pay for that same item.
How do I attach the price tag?
Attach tags to clothing items with either safety pins (not straight pins) or a tagging gun (I have a few of these available for purchase for $13.50). Pierce the garment in the tag, underarm or other inconspicuous location where a hole will not harm the item. Scotch tape tags to books and toy/game boxes. Use packing tape to attach tags to infant gear, ride on toys etc. If your item is an odd shape for using tape, tie the tag to the item with string or a zip tie. DO NOT PIN ON THE FRONT OF THE SHIRT OR USE A TAGGING GUN ANYWHERE THAT MIGHT MAKE A NOTICEABLE HOLE IN THE GARMENT.
How can I earn the highest percentage – 75%?
Consignors earn a minimum of 60%. You will earn 70% by when you volunteer to work one 4-hour shift. We will increase your percentage to 75% when you work a total of 8 hours (two 4-hour shifts) Click Here for information on volunteering.
Is there a deadline to enter and print my tags?
Yes. The deadline to input items and print tags is 11:59 Pm on Sunday, March 25th. After that time, consignors will no longer have access to the system to enter/edit items. You may still access the system to print tags.
Will I need an appointment to drop off things?
Yes. All consignors will be required to schedule an appointment to drop off merchandise. Click Here to schedule your drop-off.
