HANGERS – If you are wondering where to find hangers, check your local dry cleaners. Many, including Plaza Dry Cleaners, have a bin of recycled hangers in their lobby. If you ask, they are usually happy to let you take a handful.

Kidzsignments is on Facebook. We share a lot of great info and special notices on our fan page. Are you a fan? Click the image the the left (or HERE) to join today!
REMEMBER!

  • Schedule your one drop off time!
  •  Mark your items with your ID # (this allows us to look up and then sell an item without a tag).
  •  Review rules for preparing your items!
  •  Deadline to enter items is Sunday, 11/6 at 11:59 pm – you will still be able to print tags after this time.
  •  Volunteers still needed! Click Here to schedule a shift.

FOR CONSIGNORS THAT SOLD IN EDISON….please read about Selling at Multiple Sales from the Consignor Library. Here is a quick “how to transfer items” excerpt:

The MySaleManager program will allow consignors to sell at multiple events using existing inventory by the process called Inventory Transfer. This is how it works.

  • Enter all of your inventory into the first sale account where you will be participating.
  • When that sale is complete you’ll receive an email, from me, that it is OK to transfer inventory.
  • AFTER that email, you will move inventory OUT of that sale account and accept inventory IN to the next sale account.
  • YOU MUST MOVE INVENTORY “OUT” AND THEN ACCEPT INVENTORY “IN” FOR YOUR ITEMS TO SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFER TO THE NEW SALE ACCOUNT.
  • Inventory Transfer is subject to the same entry deadlines as entering and tagging.
  • ONLY AFTER YOU ACCEPT INVENTORY “IN” SHOULD YOU BE ENTERING NEW ITEMS (this is to avoid duplicate item numbers being assigned).
  • Inventory Transfers are performed in “batches”. Once you have transferred a batch “out” you have only 30 days to transfer it “in” to another sale account. After 30 days those items will be deleted and will not be retrievable in either sale account inventory.
  •  Items marked as SOLD are NOT eligible for transfer and will not appear in the list when checking items to be transferred
  • You may only transfer items in your ACTIVE inventory
An Important Note- All sellers NEED to be quality checking their items before entering/tagging and bringing them to drop off. It is imperative that you pull out items that are stained, broken, not clean etc. We will be inspecting items at drop off and we realize that it is easy to miss a small spot or stain. However, larger stains and tears should be caught before items come to us. We pride ourselves on a quality sale and it is important, for consignors, that shoppers feel confident in the quality of your items so they tell their friends and return to shop each sale. Thank you!

Do’s & Don’ts…

DO – Make sure your bar codes are printing correctly. You should be able to see some space between each bar. Click here for visual examples of good and bad barcodes. We are randomly check consignor bar codes at drop off. If your bar codes will not scan, you will have to reprint.
DON’T – Size children’s clothing as S,M,L. Determine a numerical size so volunteers will know where to hang it. S,M,L is acceptable for Junior girls clothing.
DO – Pin/attach separates and accessories. Pin tops to bottoms. Pin diaper covers (lollipops, panties etc.), hats, tights etc. to the outfit you are selling.
DON’T – Cover barcodes with tape. Don’t cover stickers or decals with packing tape (when the tape is removed the decals/stickers may tear off with the tape).
DO – Make note of item limits. Total of 350 items will be accepted. There is a maximum of 25 item per gender up 18 months (18/24 months included – 24 months not included - does not include coats, costumes, accessories dancewear or dress up) and 10 pairs of shoes. No maternity, car seats or bike helmets. Crib mattresses may only be sold with a crib or toddler bed (not alone).
DON’T – Bring toys that have been recalled by the manufacturer. Click here to view a list of recalled toys. But since items are added on a regular basis, it is also good to check the CPSC website at www.cpsc.gov.
