Commonly Asked Questions
-
When is it acceptable to sell sleeve shirts or dresses at the fall sale? We recognize that some short sleeves are appropriate for fall so we will accept short sleeve shirts if they have a collar (i.e. polo style) or a fall/winter holiday themed (i.e. Halloween). Short sleeve dresses need to be fall/winter themed (i.e. fall colors or patterns). We do not accept shorts at the fall sale.
-
What are the restrictions on shoes? Shoes sell really well at both spring and fall events. Shoes need to be in new or next to new condition. No open toe shoes are permitted at the fall sale. We limit shoes to 10 pairs per consignor. Snowboots and rainboots are included but sports cleats, slippers, dance shoes or dress up are not included in this total.
-
Will you accept capri pants at the fall sale? We do accept denim or khaki capri pants at both fall and spring sales. All other capri style pants should be saved for spring.
-
Can I sell summer toys like bikes and slides in fall? Toys are one our biggest sellers. You are welcome to sell any outdoor toy or bike at the fall sale. The only outdoor items that we ask you wait for spring to sell are pools and swimming toys.
Item Limits
Because we have space limitations and to ensure our customers shop from the best available items we have set a few items limits in place.
- Infant Clothing – We limit infant clothing (sizes 0-18 months) to 25 items per consignor per gender (25 girls items & 25 boys items). If an items tag reads 18/24 months it IS included in that limit. Sizes 24 months and up are not included. This is 25 total items in not 25 per size. If you are the parent of multiples, we may be able to increase those limits. You should email us to learn if you qualify.
- Shoes – We limit shoes to a total of 10 pairs per consignor and do not include sports cleats, slippers, dress up or dance shoes in this total.
- Total Items – Each consignor may bring a total of 350 items to drop off. Items over this amount will be turned away at inspection.
