PRICING
As the consignor, you are in total control of your pricing! Here are some tips and guidelines we hope you find helpful.
Price As If You are the Buyer
As a general rule you will want to price items at about 1/4 to 1/3 of their original retail price. If your item is a name-brand or boutique-brand such as Janie & Jack®, Gymboree®, Hanna Andersson or other higher end, you can price closer to 1/3 original retail. Clothing from Target or Wal-Mart should be priced on the lower end. In the end, take a look at the item and say to yourself “what would I pay for this?” and then use your best judgment.
Mark Discount for Half Price Day
NOTE: Minimum price should be $2 and can increase in .50 increments. Our system will accept as low as $1. But we prefer you begin at $2
Think of pricing in terms of what you would pay for this item if you were shopping for one. Others may price higher or lower, but most items priced right will sell at full price!

Pricing Charts & EXAMPLES
Use the following prices for ideas on how to price your items. These are good estimates based on what similar items are selling for in area second-hand stores and at similar consignment sales. If you have examples to add, we would love to hear from you. Email us at laurie@kidzsignments.com.
